Radha Nagar Beach Bestowed with the precious award of ‘Asia’s best beach’ by TIME Magazine, Radha Nagar Beach situated 12kms from Havelock’s ferry pier is undoubtedly one of the best beaches of Andaman Islands. Fine white sand, turquoise blue waters, and a lot of peace and serenity are the hallmarks of this beauty.
Also known as ‘Haathi Tapu’; the Hindi version of Elephant Beach. the island derives its name from the walks that the elephants of Havelock have been known to take around this region. Though there is everything the same about elephant beach, there are small intricacies that set it apart from others. This place is considered to be the best place for Snorkelling and Diving because of the clear blue conditions.
Laxman Pur Beach – Laxman Pur Beach is right at the Neil Island jetty (about half a kilometer) and is a wide, white beach. Most of the tourists visit this beach in the morning hours and do snorkeling in the evening they get to watch the sunset at Laxmanpur beach.

Natural Bridge – Natural Bridge is the chief attraction of Andaman and Nicobar Island which is located on Neil Island. It is widely known as the Howrah Bridge. The name is Howrah Bridge was provided by the local Bengalis of Neil Island and offers a pleasant environment for its tourists.
Corbyn’s Cove Beach
Teeming with people and encircled by lush green coconut palms, Corbyn’s Cove is one of the more busy beaches in the Andaman Islands. This is the closest beach to Port Blair, a mere 8 km from the City center. The drive to the beach is a stunning visual treat.
A few miles from Port Blair is Ross Island, once an administrative headquarter for the Britishers before an earthquake rocked the Island in 1941. This island makes you nostalgic and takes you back in time when this was an administrative settlement for the Britishers. The Indian Navy has rebuilt some of the old buildings like the bakery and the local stores, from where souvenirs are available.
North Bay Island is a popular destination in Port Blair. The beach and the snorkeling opportunities in its fringing coral reefs are the closest ones you will find at Port Blair. A ferry will take you across Aberdeen Jetty and bring you back after 3 hours. The corals at North Bay are rather good and spread over a large area. You’re very likely to spot many fish, lobster, or even clams on the coral reef. When at North Bay, it is time to relax and enjoy.
Chidya Tapu: Known as the bird island, Chidiya Tapu is a picturesque little island in the Andamans, famous for its natural beauty, numerous resident birds, and gorgeous views of the sunset. Chidiya Tapu translates to ‘Sparrow Island’ The tiny island, 25 km from Port Blair is abundant with lush green mangroves and equatorial forests.
Samudrika Marine Museum has strategically divided the place into five rooms to show different aspects of the Andaman Islands. But before you enter the rooms, make sure your camera clicks to your heart’s content with the huge blue whale skeleton welcoming all guests. The blue whale skeleton came from the Nicobar Islands.
